![]() ![]() Such cleavage critters are usually harmlessly cute if they're longer than they are wide, you can bet they're going to be used for blatant fanservice sooner or later. Occasionally even small pets get stored there (well, it's warmer than a shoulder). Does not refer to the, uh, other compartment or other other compartment. Lends a whole new meaning to the term "breast pocket". ![]() Related to the Double Standard, since a man can't reach down there without hilarity ensuing (consequently, women often stuff a small object down there to keep a man from getting at it). That might have been the biggest advantage tbh.A woman hides a plot-sensitive item close to her heart - or more accurately, between her (usually large) breasts. Just seeing a small car like that you would never think it would have the space. After word got around the designer and maker got a ton of business. At that time they had to physically cut the car in half to access it and used the Jaws of life to eventually pry it open. It had quite a prolific run until someone noticed customs and boarder agents of Its existence. The actual usable space looked to be about the same size as a normal cider block. Everything mechanical was also inside so there were no tell tail give aways of the car was inspected closer. It was a metal rectangular shape with two internal hydraulics on each end that would allow the one side to open. The entire box was self contained but I cannot remember if it was battery operated or was connected to the cars power supply. The it could be opened 2 ways, by remote or by a sequence of actions ( turn the blinker on to the left, then use your window cleaner, activate hazards and finally turning the radio to preset 5. The stash box was located I between the driver and passenger and up under the gear shift lever. The car was totally stock and visually totally unaltered. In fact I'm not even sure I'd consider it a real secret compartment unless extensive modifications had to be done to the car and electrical systems.Īn acquaintece might have had the most complex I'd seen that was installed in a purposely bought volkswagen golf. Living within 20 minutes of the northern border they were fairly common. So I guess I grew up slightly different than most but I have had and known people whove had much much more "professional" hidden storage examples. I apologize there was not a very interesting topic this week, but comment, Reddit chat, or PM me some ideas, and I will use them in later guides. I personally like to use a plastic bottle cap for this purpose. Then, superglue an inconspicuous item to the top of that so you have a handle to lift your new secret compartment. Sometimes the rubber mat will not come up, in which case I recommend this to cut your own mat. Once you have found the container, you either need to pull the rubber mat up from the cupholder or tray, and glue it to the top of your container while making sure it still is able to open. The goal here is to make the container fit into the bottom of a cupholder or center console tray in order to create a sort of false bottom compartment. Unfortunately, I am out of ideas about other types of secret compartments, so for today, it is a short post about secret compartments in cars. Hey guys! I decided to make the secret door guide expand into a more extensive Reddit guide featuring other types of secret compartments with the end goal being a wiki in our subreddit as one user suggested. ![]()
